BrambleWood is a small family run business offering 100% natural handmade soap and skincare products. We take pride in creating sustainable, zero-waste products, delivered in plastic-free packaging.
Founded in 2019, BrambleWood Soap Co was created from a desire to develop natural skincare products for our young family.
Our signature recipe was first created in our Dorset kitchen using soothing lavender and calendula picked from the garden for our eldest son who suffered from eczema. We had found it very difficult to find natural soaps suitable for his skin, that were free from chemicals, additives and palm oil, and so we created our own.
Our multi award-winning soaps are made with blend of shea butter, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil and olive oil to create a wonderfully nourishing, skin loving bar of soap.
Each product is decorated by hand with a beautiful array of botanicals that are organically grown in the family gardens and by trusted local growers.
From the very first bar of soap we made, our focus has been on creating nourishing, natural, chemical free skincare that does not cost or impact the earth.
Materials Description
Each soap is handmade in small batches in the heart of Dorset using the finest natural ingredients. Our soaps are free from palm oil, artificial, synthetic fragrances, colours, parabens, SLS, SLES and phthalates.BrambleWood is proud to be fully cruelty-free with no product ever tested on animals. We also ensure that our raw ingredient suppliers share our values and are also cruelty free.
Creating natural, palm-oil free products with the finest Fair-Trade ingredients has been a key part of ensuring BrambleWood offers something unique to our customers. One of the organisations that we source our raw ingredients from is an incredible women’s co-operative in Ghana. Through choosing to use their shea butter, we help to support 15,000 jobs to women in rural communities, empowering them to earn an income.
Our soap and skincare range celebrates our love of the Dorset countryside. Through using the finest Dorset based growers, we can support local business and reduce our carbon footprint, ensuring that only sustainable planting practises are used to protect our environment.
All soaps are packed in unique, plastic free, recycled cardboard boxes that enable customers to see the beautiful botanicals.
