County Map Art Prints

Set against a hand drawn watercolour background, each county has its own unique design that is a symbol or easily identifiable image of said county.
All the locations are then hand written on which adds an extremely personal touch.
Alice started creating these county map art prints during the first lockdown. She started with the East Midlands as with being from Leicestershire – she knew the shape of Leicestershire’s county boundary was perfect for the fox head - the counties emblem.
She was also aware that there was yet to be created an art map of England that included every single county as with being from Leicestershire she had never seen Leicestershire on any art map.
Alice committed to creating one map every week for eighteen months, this meant she was slowly able to jigsaw each county together.
Alice has now started to sell these map prints at craft fairs around the county and is blown away by the response to them.
