Filthy Gorgeous

When this range was just a tiny seedling in our excitable minds, we knew that to even consider bringing it to market, it needed to have ethical credentials.
In our personal lives, we practice low-impact living and one of us has been vegan for 35 years, so there was our starting point.

Our first product was everyday soaps.
We found a UK based soap partner who was able to supply bars that were not only beautiful with their natural essential oil fragrances, but ticked every other box we needed; cruelty free, zero palm oil, no parabens, no SLS, responsibly sourced ingredients, zero plastic, hand made...

From there, we worked with print partners to create packaging which is fully biodegradable and recyclable.

Since then we have introduced more products to the range; shave and shampoo bars, boxed sets, mitts, and fragrance sticks. There are now 40 items across five sections. While not all of the components are manufactured in the UK (due to an absence of manufacturing), these elements have been carefully sourced from fair trade cooperatives and ethical companies who support our own values and practice these within their own organisations.

Our mitts are manufactured using unbleached, biodegradable jute. Our fragrance sticks are produced through a Fairtrade organisation using all natural ingredients, sustainably sourced bamboo, natural flowers, plants, resins and oils.

The packaging is designed and printed in the UK, using biodegradable FSC boards and finishes.
So we know that long after the wrappers, boxes and sleeves have been discarded and the products have been enjoyed, there will be no trace for future generations to find in the decades or centuries to come.
Which is probably just as well, imagine digging up a Tits 'n' Fanny wrapper in the garden!
