RHS Gifts for Gardeners

Burgon & Ball’s ‘RHS Gifts for Gardeners’ collections of gorgeous gardening gifts are a collaboration with the Royal Horticultural Society, one of the world’s foremost gardening organisations since 1805. The beautiful patterns are designed by Burgon & Ball and incorporate imagery from the RHS Lindley Collections of historic botanical art, reproduced under licence.

There are currently four design collections to choose from. New collections picking up on emerging trends in gardening are launched every few years, each consisting of a mix of new gift ideas and existing top-selling lines. In this way the offering is kept fresh and on trend.

Currently the RHS Gifts for Gardeners range consists of: Passiflora, a striking watercolour of Monier’s Passion Flower by James Bolton, circa 1790; Flora and Fauna, which features Chinese watercolours and hand coloured engravings of dainty songbirds and delicate foliage, dating from 1819-1912; British Bloom, a bold design of dahlias and peonies including early 19C botanical illustrations and watercolours dating back to the 1630s; and British Meadow, which showcases delicate meadow flowers and butterflies, reflecting today’s more informal gardens.

Gifts are presented in distinctive packaging featuring the beautiful designs, created to highlight the quality of the range. The gift selection includes ‘letterbox-friendly’ designs less than 3cm in height, ideal for sending by post. Recent collections have moved to recyclable cardboard packaging, while still retaining the shelf appeal and eye-catching look of the range.
