Zero Waste Patchwork Slippers
Pajama Pantry
The outer fabric is painstakingly patchworked together by hand in Scotland, from scraps and offcuts of our fairtrade cotton nightwear. It is then quilted, using free motion embroidery onto a wool/cotton wadding in lengths big enough to cut 12 -15 pairs. The fabric is then sent to a 3rd generation artisan shoemaker in Kettering, where it is hand cut into mocassin slippers lined with sheepskin and trimmed with the softest suede . They are finished with a non-slip pvc sole, manufactured in the UK. No two pairs are the same - no two shoes are the same. They are unique in the market.
