Under The Radar: Dinner Party
Puzzle Post
Slide open the box to reveal a set of 'Easy' and 'Hard' challenges. The aim of the game is to complete your challenges without your fellow gamers catching you out.
How to play: To start the game, shuffle the easy and hard challenge card decks separately, then hand out four challenge cards to each player - 2 easy and 2 hard.
During the evening, try to complete your challenges without anyone noticing. Keep an eye on your fellow gamers - if you suspect someone is doing their challenge you must say "Spotted" followed by what you think their challenge is. The suspected player must then come clean and announce whether you have got it right.
Set a deadline for the end of the game. It could be the end of the meal, the end of the evening, 9pm exactly - you decide.
Once the time is up, each player will reveal their challenge cards to see how many they were able to complete without getting caught. The player who completes the most challenges undetected wins the game.
Remember, there's extra kudos for completing the hard challenges! If any challenge is impossible to complete given the circumstances, the player can swap it for another one.
Example challenges:
Easy: Swap an item of cutlery with someone.
Easy: Tell everyone that you don't believe that warthogs are real.
Hard: Try to start a round of applause after someone else's joke or story. Do it twice.
Hard: Sneak this card into someone's pocket without being caught.
This version is the Dinner Party Edition, we also have a 'Road Trip' edition with car themed challenges to make a journey go by in a fun filled flash!
