We have just finished celebrating our 70th anniversary and the good wishes and support from customers old and new has been really encouraging. It's certainly been one of the more challenging years we have seen in the last eight decades for retailers, especially trading on the continent. Fortunately for us people still like to drink and entertain at home which has boosted our home bar sales.

Tell us about the products you have entered

We are lucky to partner with Final Touch who have the resources to develop new barware continually, backed by the best imagery and videos. For the 2023 award we have entered unique and eye-catching whisky taster glasses and sparkling drink glassware in premium packaging.

From Bar Originale we have to produce electric corkscrews for 30 years and our newest version is powerful and compact with a USB cable.

Finally, we have brought back a retro snowman design cocktail shaker to add some fun to the home bar at Christmas.

Why did you choose to enter the GOTY competition? have you entered in the past and has it helped your brand grow?

We have entered the Gift of the Year competition almost from its inception and enjoy deciding what to promote annually. The extra publicity is always welcome as are the numerous awards we have won!

What other products will you be bringing to market in 2023

A portable, insulated ice bucket holding a whopping 60 litres of ice cubes frozen for up to 48 hours. Ideal for camping, caravan sites, on the beach or back garden.
