Kimm & Miller was established in the market town of Bedford in 2006. Now, over a decade later, our original ensemble is still here, and as the business has grown, so has our wonderful team, expanding to meet the growing demand for our gifts across the UK and overseas.
Tell us about the products you have entered
The gifts we’ve entered this year showcase the team’s innovation and the scope of brands we’ve had the opportunity to work with. Our John Whaite Measuring Spoon set allows aspiring bakers to precisely produce recipes worthy to be showcased in the Bake Off tent. Costa Coffee’s Customisable Babyccino Cup allows children to showcase their personality. Alternatively our Pot Noodle Bombay Bad Boy Spinning Fork Set is a must-have stocking filler, or a student saviour for their first week of university. Meanwhile our unique Marmife spreader helps to reduce wastage and enable Marmite lovers to savour every drop in their jars!
Why did you choose to enter the GOTY Competition? Have you entered in the past and has it helped your brand grow?
We entered this competition to showcase our distinctive gift range and the innovative work of our design team. We love to take part in the Gift of the Year Awards each year: last year’s win in the Novelty category for our Heinz Grow Your Own Tomatoes Kit was greatly rewarding for the team, showcasing our designers’ hard work. It’s a great atmosphere at the awards ceremony too: a fantastic opportunity to engage with others within the gifting and licensing industries.
What other products will you be bringing to market in 2023
We’re working on a wide range of gifts for 2023, from seasonal gift sets to everyone’s favourite household brands and, of course, our array of trend-led food, drink, and lifestyle gifts.
Where can your products be purchased?
Our products can be purchased at everyone’s favourite supermarket chains (such as Tesco, Morrisons, and Asda) as well as at a number of high-street retailers (Boots, Next, Dunelm, Matalan, and more). We’ve also significantly increased our online presence in recent years with the development of our Amazon UK store (https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?me=A1PCM69Q045G04&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P) as well as selling through numerous other popular online shopping destinations (Very, JD Williams, Menkind, and more). Some of our products are also available direct through our brands, such as Marmite’s online shop & Costa Coffee’s in-store range.
