Powell Craft Ltd has been a family-run business supplying independent boutiques and online stores around the world since 1962. The wide product range is designed in-house, and the collections include wonderful gifts for children – traditional toys, nursery accessories, and comfortable clothing for babies and little ones. Powell Craft’s luxurious cotton nightwear, beautiful home accessories, lace-trimmed lavender sachets, and vibrantly printed scarves, totes, make-up, and wash bags make perfect presents for women of all ages.
Tell us about the products you have entered.
Our beautiful appliquéd penguin toy Christmas stockings are spacious enough to hold lots of gifts and will bring joy year after year. This pale blue stocking is appliquéd with a polar scene featuring a seal and embroidered icy peaks. It has a little pocket embroidered ‘Dear Santa’ which contains a cute little penguin wearing a Santa hat that can be removed to play with. The white fold-over top is edged with gold trim, and it has a red ribbon to hang the stocking and a large gold star.
Why did you choose to enter the GOTY competition? have you entered in the past and has it helped your brand grow?
We have not entered GOTY in the past so are really excited to participate and to see what happens!
What other products will you be bringing to market in 2023?
We have lots of exciting new products for 2023 including new prints across our range of makeup bags, wash bags, and satin-backed eye masks. We have a new style of women's pyjamas with shorts, a range of kaftan-style summer dresses, and kimono jackets. Two new prints, one with cheeky crocodiles and the other with colourful butterflies adorn our gift ranges for children which include raincoats, backpacks, lunch bags, and moccasins.
