Product Description
Our jute bags are an easy gift with an RRP of £5 and as there's a design for everyone they make a lovely, thoughtful gift to cheer somebody up!!
The bags are bigger than you think - 31cm tall x 31cm wide with a 23cm gusset meaning they're a really good size and they'll take loads of your shopping, and have padded handles for comfort when your bag is full and heavy!
Tell us about your business
We doodle and design quirky designs onto useful jute shopping bags and have this year fully launched our dog breeds range. The bags make a lovely, thoughtful, easy gift and there really is one for everyone you know. The designs are bright and fun, and cover family members, jobs, sports, hobbies and now 40 different dog breeds. Oh, and we keep adding designs all the time, suggestions welcome!!
What can you tell us about your entered products?
Thankfully we're really privileged to have two different designs entered this year!
Firstly our dog breed range which have been so unbelievably popular - our sketches of 40 different dog breeds hand screen printed onto the jute bags are loved by every dog lover... The only problem is that we keep getting asked to design more and more breeds!! So the range keeps growing!!!
Secondly we're delighted that the 'Our NHS is Great' design is entered into the competition, it's brand new and has been so well received as we all want to show our appreciation for our NHS heroes!!
Why did you choose to enter Gift of the Year 2021 and has the competition helped boost your brand in the past?
We've been in the retail game for years and have always really respected the GOTY competition, any product nominated is sure to be a hit with retailers and the shoppers alike, so it was great news for us to be entered.
Hopefully the exposure will help us bring our amazing bags to more and more people!
Has your business been affected by Covid-19? 2020 hasn't been easy for any of us, each lockdown effectively closes our stockists which isn't good for any of us, but online sales have been good, so we're doing ok.
And one upshot is that we've had more time to doodle more designs so keep your eyes peeled in the spring of 2021 for even more!!
What changes have you made as a result?
Well, we managed to rebuild our website to be more user friendly and spend more time designing new bags... Oh, and we have the time to reorganise the warehouse which we'd been putting off for years!!!
