Wrendale Design Cross Stitch Kits

Bothy Threads have been working with Hannah Dale of Wrendale Designs since 2016, transforming her beautiful water colours into much loved counted cross stitch and tapestry kits. This ever-popular range now has over 142 designs, ranging from much loved Collie dogs to sweet buzzing bumblebees.

Let’s start with the smaller greeting’s cards cross stitch kits in the Wrendale Design range. ‘The Birds and The Bees’ and ‘Peek-a-Boo’ both include a generous quantity of pre-sorted stranded cotton and 16 count Aida which has been printed with an exclusive water colour speckle background to match Hannah’s artwork.

The kits also include a needle, threaded onto a cardboard needle card, a tri-fold aperture card and envelope, along with a detailed stitch diagram and instructions, which include QR code video links to help along the way. The finished design measures 10 x 16cm and includes everything the stitcher needs to gift a handmade card to the lucky recipient.

‘The Birds And The Bees’ (RRP £13.49) is the ideal card for all occasions: Mother’s day, Easter, thinking of you, or a simple thank you. ‘Peek-a-Boo’ (RRP £13.49) is the perfect stitch for expectant parents or grandparents, or even a first birthday card.

For a bigger project, ‘Sleeping on The Job’ cross stitch kit (RRP £38.99) is a fabulous kit to keep any stitcher busy for hours! This kit includes a generous quantity of pre-sorted stranded cotton, 16 count Aida printed with Hannah’s famous exclusive speckle design, along with detailed stitch diagrams and instructions which include QR code video links to help along the way. The finished design measures 34 x 28cm when complete and makes the most beautiful piece of artwork for any home.

Lastly in this range is ‘Head Clover Heels’ cross stitch kit (RRP £33.99), with one of Wrendale Designs’ famous beautiful bunnies amongst a field of clover. A mid-sized project, this counted cross stitch kit measures 26 x 26cm when complete and includes all the essentials, as well as our exclusive 14 count speckle printed Aida.
