Inside each box is a hand-made felting pad made with burlap fabric and filled with organic buckwheat husks. This makes the quality of these kits much higher than the plastic sponges found in other kits, which fall apart easily yet are non biodegradable. The needles are packaged inside a card box instead of the usual plastic tubes, with colour coded cruelty free varnish and coding sticker so simple to use. The generous amounts of wool inside each kit which is all labelled and only the best quality coloured and core wool is chosen for these kits. There is a welcome letter inside with a list of contents and links to both the video tutorial to follow to make the project as well as a link for beginners to go over the basics if needed. All creators are invited to join a group to share their creations with others and helped and encouraged as they work their way through the kits. All contents are carefully presented in beautiful recycled lilac tissue and branded sticker. Each box has been designed in the brand colours, cute graphics and is eco-printed directly onto the box, with stickers for it's difficulty rating, age recommendation and that it is "plastic free" . On the back of the box is information about the contents and what to expect and on the side is a cute slogan that reads "crafty-tastic with no plastic”.

Little Blue Artworks works hard to keep the plastics as bay and asks all stockists of materials to also send their stock without plastic, making the planet a cleaner place. The projects keep the crafters coming back to try more, as they are fun, therapeutic and leaving felters with a sense of achievement and well being, so important especially when in isolation.
