How the Recognised Concept works:

Step 2: Pick your Popon® (Each Popon supports an important cause and 100% of profits are donated to our charity partners

We all have something we’re walking through, whether it’s struggling with our mental health, supporting a friend through cancer or living without a loved one. In all things, it’s important to feel seen and to know we’re not alone. Our Statement Popons® bring moments of hope and recognition at times in people’s lives they need it most.

Since launching Recognised in October 2018, over 10,000 Statement Popon® gifts have been purchased for friends and family to express love and compassion to one another.

To date, Statement Popons® have made a difference to thousands of people (see video) alongside raising £80,000 for five important causes. Our causes include Mental Health, Cancer Support, Motherhood, Racial Equality, Ukraine Crisis and the fight against anti-slavery.

Dove Popon® - Mental Health
We’ve been supporting mental health awareness from day one and it’s a cause that’s important to us all, with 1 in 4 of us in the UK affected. Following the pandemic, our Dove Popon is more important than ever, with so many of us having experienced poor mental wellbeing for the first time.
The Dove Popon® was created as a show of support for every single person struggling with their mental wellbeing. This Popon not only helps raise awareness of mental health, it has played a significant role in sparking important conversations around mental health, helping break down stigma and shame and communicating to anyone feeling isolated that they are not alone, there is hope and the sun will shine brighter on another day. From stories of family members who have lost loved ones to suicide and purchased this Popon in memory of them, to friends sending each other the Dove as a show of support throughout the pandemic, this Popon carries hope, healing and a message of love.

Pearl Popon® - Modern Slavery
The reality that slavery still exists in the 21st century is heartbreaking. Each Pearl Popon® symbolises the precious value of human life hidden away in darkness and brought into the light. There are three colour pearls (White, Pink and Grey) and they are named after the different ways our charity partners help fight slavery, by providing freedom for victims, bringing perpetrators to justice and giving survivors hope. Three things we believe everyone is worthy and deserving of.

Alphabet Popons® - Cancer Support
Cancer impacts nearly all of us in one way or another – it’s a cause close to so many of our hearts. We created Recognised letters to recognise each and every person affected by cancer. Every initial worn represents a personal story. Time and time again our Alphabet Popons are purchased in memory of a loved one, as a meaningful gift for someone going through cancer or to keep those we know in mind throughout their illness. Every Recognised Letter holds so much meaning and helps keep those we love close to our hearts throughout the hardest of times.

The Motherhood Popon recognises each and every mother and the many different journeys, challenges and contexts we all face.
