Thanks to their native lanolin content – which really is Mother Nature’s very own softener – laundry balls naturally massage the fabric during the drying process. So, when your garments emerge from the dryer, they feel naturally softer. Even better, there’s no residue that softeners can leave behind and no laundry sheets or excess plastic packaging going to landfill. So how does a simple material like wool do all of this? The answer lies in the way those clever sheep grow their wool. Due to the way wool is constructed, it can absorb as much as 30-40% atmospheric water without feeling damp to the touch. This is due to tiny scales on the wool’s surface – think of them as mini roof tiles. On the one hand, they repel water but at the same time allow atmospheric moisture to be absorbed without becoming wet. Simple. Natural.

FELTED SOAP
Shaun the Sheep x Little Beau Sheep felted soaps are enriched with lanolin and wrapped in 100% natural British wool. The wool acts as a soap saver and the soap lathers through it felting and shrinking with use, naturally exfoliating, antibacterial and biodegradable. Because the last so long they replace many bottles of shower gel each year.
